Participating in the design and implementation of series of prototypes to test various
technologies to be used in an integrated claim processing system for a life and
health insurance company. Iona Orbix CORBA backbone connected custom applications
built with Microsoft Technologies on Widows NT and C/C++, Java and Oracle in a Sun
Solaris environment. The prototype established the desired integration patterns
and eliminated risks associated with the complexity of the solution.
Design and initial implementation of multithreaded gateways for host connectivity
to the different wireless networks and SMS Centers
Design and implementation of w-Trade SIM client for Phase 2+ GSM phones using
Gemplus’ GemXplore Case SIM Toolkit. A securities trading client application as
a part of the world's first multi-device, multi-network mobile business application
– w-Trade Wireless Trading System.
Design and implementation of an alerts system for performance (stock/indices price
change) alerts and news alerts for Sectorbase.com. Development included: alerts
management system (offering alerts scheduling, editing, removing services) and set
of scripts for database polling and sending performance and news alerts to the end
user.
Installation, management and integration of IBM Secure Way Wireless Gateway with
Mobilero (w-Technologies Wireless platform) as a part of a joint project with IBM
Corp.
